You will be on a roster (frequency determined by you) to start our races on a Friday and Sunday afternoon. This could be one race a month, or one a week depending on your own preferences and time available. You don't need any skills - we can provide the training, which is minimal. All support required is provided. Being a part of the race starter team makes you a key part of the sailing community at The Squadron. If you have a friend who would like to do it as well, you can be rostered on together and it means you both get all the benefits! After starting the race, you then have the opportunity to relax and look out over the Swan River until its time for the yachts to finish! Enjoy tea and biscuits in the Start Box and a meal afterwards. Join in the presentations and the camaraderie after the race!
