Generally, tasks will include cleaning walls, windows, fencing and pathways around the shelter, as well as providing repairs to animal enclosures and providing general cleaning with a pressure hose.

Please note, this role does not involve direct animal contact.

Volunteering in this role looks like:

• Helping to maintain a clean shelter for both members of the public, staff, volunteers and our animal residents

• Providing general fixes to facilities and animal enclosures

• Pressure washing or sweeping pathways and walkways

• Keeping equipment in a good working order for day-to-day use

• Comply with all Work Health and Safety (WHS) guidelines

• Understand and comply with RSPCA NSW policies and procedures
