We are seeking volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to assist young learners with reading and/or maths skills. The program operates in person at the Kathleen Syme Library on Monday and Tuesday between 4-6pm and at Carlton Primary School on Wednesdays between 3:15-4:30pm (during school term). We also offer tutoring via Zoom for students and have opportunities for tutors to participate online. Our aim is to improve educational outcomes through one-to-one tutoring. Our volunteers:

• Can attend either online or in person during the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday sessions. We only expect tutors to attend when it suits their schedule and even 1 hour a week or fortnightly would be amazing.
• Need to have a current Working With Children Check (Free for Volunteers)
• Good communication skills
