Be Connected Digital Mentor Training is a 'train-the-trainer' session that teaches people how to help others in their communities with digital technology using the goverment's free Be Connected teaching resources.

Being a Digital Mentor is about inspiring people aged 50+ to try out using digital technology, and supporting them through their first steps using computers, mobile devices, and the internet.

Come along to this online training session and learn how to inspire people to get online, build their digital skills, overcome any fears or barriers to getting online, and learn where to find more help.

You will become part of a network of Digital Mentors across Australia who are supporting older Australians to be connected. You can take this training into organisations like Neighbourhood Houses, Libraries, Community Centres, U3As, Clubs or Cultural groups and assist or initiate Be Connected digital help sessions. You can even use it just to help family members - it's up to you!

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
