Be a Scoring Volunteer ‘Game Changer’ for the Special Olympics National Games 2022 in Launceston, TAS.

You'll be part of the most inspirational event on the Australian sporting calendar from 17-21 October 2022 welcoming 1,000 athletes with an intellectual disability to showcase their talent by competing across in 10 sports!

Special Olympics Australia National Games, the flagship event of Special Olympics Australia. • For athletes it's the culmination of years of regular and dedicated training. • For families it inspires hope for a future. • For volunteers it provides a joyous outlet for their generosity.

Volunteer Roles: We are currently looking volunteers to support us with scoring at the Launceston Convention Centre across three (3) days. Training will be provided.

Time Availability: Tuesday 18th October from 9:00am - 4:00pm Wednesday 19th October from 9:00am - 4:00pm Thursday 20th October from 9:00am - 4:00pm

Location: Launceston Convention Centre, Tasmania

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy From the 1st of February 2022, Special Olympics Australia requires all volunteers to be fully vaccinated (minimum of 2 vaccinations). Proof of vaccination will be required prior to commencing the role.

Special Olympics Australia is a child safe organization and conducts relevant checks as part of volunteer screening.
