This position involves working directly with clients, specifically focused on helping them enjoy their hobbies and interests which supports them in conveying their feelings and also instils confidence with new skills and understanding their own capabilities. Meeting Frequency 1-2 hours , every 1-2 weeks ideally ongoing but for atleast 3-6 months.

The roles and activities may include, but are not limited to:
• Interacting and engaging with clients through conversation and activities aligned to their passions, hobbies and interests. • Support clients by making observations about their experience and activities and share specific information and skills with clients. • Assisting clients to enjoy, enhance and develop their abilities • Abide by the NDIS Code of Conduct and Mosaic Policies and Procedures.

There are certain activities that volunteers are not allowed to undertake, including: • Assisting clients with personal care, such as showering or toileting.
• Manual handling. • Dispensing medication. • Driving clients in their own or a Mosaic vehicle. • Visiting clients or escorting them into the community without a Mosaic staff member present.
