Sinclair Cottage, part of HammondCare Miranda, offers overnight respite to frail and aged people and those that live with Dementia. The Cottage is designed to be a home away from home for its guests while their loves ones take some time for themselves

With your assistance as a mini-bus driver, our respite guests will enjoy the sights while on a short outing for 1-2 hours. You will be accompanied by one of our care staff who will look after the guests’ care needs.

The van is a 10-seater, so anyone with a current Australian C class driver’s license and five years good driving history can volunteer. We will provide training on driving the bus as well as orientation and ongoing support from our Volunteer Coordinator at Miranda.
