If you’re interested in connecting with older people who are socially isolated, we’d love to hear from you! We’re looking for Volunteers who can support older people with their goals around staying independent, healthy and connected to their community.

Martin has an interest in politics, history, playing chess and card games. He enjoys keeping up with world affairs, and would love to chat with someone who shares his interests. Martin describes himself as friendly, approachable, giving and easy going. If you would like to support Martin* on walks around the Neighbourhood or in a game of chess get in touch with us today!

We offer opportunities in skill and knowledge development, as well as ongoing support and mentoring. As a Uniting Volunteer you’ll be able to access our online learning library with over 200 courses on offer. Good communications skills and the ability to work independently are a must. Having a driver’s licence/access to own vehicle is highly desired but not essential. We value diversity in lived experience, language, skills and abilities.
