As a Lifestyle Activity Volunteer with Sundale, you can give as little or as much time as you like with our care centre residents. There's always something fun on each day of the week you can help with. You can look at the calendar of events for each care centre and decide which activity you would like to support residents with or if you have a hobby or interest you would like to share, you can host your own activity. Some examples of what you can do include: • Support residents with organised lifestyle activities including bingo, HOY (card game), art and craft, games, singing, exercise, gardening, hand massage and nail care • Host an activity of your own choice based on your hobbies and interests • Host a men’s group • Cook the men’s group BBQ once food safety training has been completed • Assist in helping set-up and clean-up of materials for activities • Drive the care centre bus to designated location chosen by the Lifestyle Coordinator and support the residents to enter/exit the bus • Support Lifestyle Coordinator with care centre garden design and plantings
