You need to have Good communication skills, friendly and willing to listen. Awareness of confidentiality and privacy principles.
Ability to ascertain when to refer on. Basic Computer skills

  1. Ring clients to offer support and information
  2. Record summary of conversation on database
  3. Update paper list of clients
  4. Refer to other agencies or provide resources to clients as relevant to their situation
  5. Report any difficult situations to Safety Register co-ordinator
