Are you ready to make a positive impact in the lives of older adults whilst indulging in your love for Yoga and/or Tai Chi? Join our compassionate team which values wellness and a welcoming environment.

The role:

Our Chair Yoga sessions are tailored for older Australians. Lead by our Allied Heath staff the class offers an adapted yoga practice that allows participants to stay seated while practicing yoga focused poses. By providing encouragement and assistance, you will help create an environment which is welcoming and supportive.

For you:

  • Participate in the class and grow your own yoga skills
  • Make a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults.
  • Meet new people and grow your connection to your community.
  • Receive ongoing support and training throughout your journey.
  • Be welcomed into genU’s friendly and inclusive workplace.

About you:

  • Interest in physical fitness and/or allied health
  • Have excellent conversation and listening skills.
  • Hold empathy and compassion about the wellbeing of older people.
  • Passionate about giving back to your local community.

Time Commitment:

Our Class runs on Mondays between 1:30 – 2:30pm. You could volunteer weekly or fortnightly – let us know what may suit you.
