Researching items to accurately identify them
Research items to give an indication of the items worth and background
Create appropriate descriptions in detail for items being listed online
Photograph item, including all possible defects/damage
Measure and weigh items for postage and description reasons
Enter item specifics
Pick items for each order accurately
Ensure suitable packaging, for safe arrival to client.
Make sure all people and the workplace are safe by always abiding by safe work practices
Keep children safe by always abiding by Salvation Army’s child safe policies and code of conduct

Training Requirements

This role requires long periods of standing. Volunteers will be required to wear comfortable and supportive shoes and take regular breaks.
As this role requires time researching items, it is important to have the workspace set up ergonomically.
This role requires up to date COVID vaccination
Other WHS considerations will be covered during the induction.
