Our independent charity, based in Baulkham Hills, Hills Community Aid has been supporting our local communities for over 50 years. At present we need more volunteer bus drivers to join our friendly team. We operate an in-house bus outings program from our Leisure Learning centre every Tuesday during school term. We would love for a new volunteer to help out with 2 terms per year for this program. We also need volunteer bus drivers to help with casual bookings we get for the bus. Community groups and social groups often book the bus to go on outings to museums, galleries and sightseeing tours together. It is a great way to counter social isolation and loneliness in the community by getting people together on a bus trip. If you hold a Light Rigid license and have some time to give, we would love to hear from you!
