Social Media Volunteer

What is included in this role? Create ABTA graphics to be used on social media accounts. Manage and grow ABTA social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. Manage community engagement using ABTA’s tone and voice to respond to comments and direct messages. Work closely with ABTA’s core team as well as other volunteers, including event co-ordinators and website analytics. Plan and coordinate interviews with ABTA team members, volunteers, and health professionals to use as content.

What skills or experience is required? A keen interest in social media content creation Good computer skills Excellent written and verbal communication Attention to detail and a creative flare Own PC and stable internet connection

We would also desire Previous experience using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Also, Canva, or similar design applications. Confidence in appearing on camera for live posts and recorded interviews.

What is the time commitment? Able to commit to a minimum of 3-4 hours per week. Flexible hours/days Work from home Immediate start This is a voluntary role

How will the ABTA support me? Our Volunteer Manager is on hand to support you with anything you need for this role, including any training in the fore mentioned applications and platforms. Complete onboarding to the ABTA ensures you are supported by our volunteer policies and procedures. ABTA Gmail access for this role. We are a very small charity run almost entirely by volunteers and are unfortunately not in a position to contribute to your internet running costs or install internet provision if you do not already have this.
