Ronald McDonald House-Meeting and greeting families, ”checking them in” and providing information regarding their accommodation, rights and responsibilities, accommodation expenses and emergency evacuations -House Tours, including personal living space, communal areas, fridges and pantry space and communal food provisions -Providing an empathetic and friendly environment for all RMHC children and their families -Administration, including completing a New Family Pack (if applicable) -Cleaning of common areas including kitchen, communal living spaces etc. paying attention to all direction from management regarding current cleaning and sanitising recommendations -Attending to the dishwasher, sweeping & mopping floors if needed, sanitising work surfaces and tables -Refilling goods from the storeroom including coffee, tea and sugar etc. -Ensuring lights and equipment are switched off at approximately 10pm -Ensuring night-lighting is turned on and operational for safe movement overnight -Ensuring external doors and windows are closed and locked -Providing additional linen to guests as requested -Washing and drying linen, towels and tea towels (weekend) -Assisting families with reasonable requests and referring to the On-Call Manager when required -Provide First Aid and or CPR if required -Any other task which has been deemed appropriate by Family & Volunteer Coordinator and Operations Manager -Overnight Volunteer Checklist to be followed each shift
