Are you a HR student looking to gain practical work experience whilst you complete your studies?

Join the People & Culture team at Disability Services Australia (DSA) as our People & Culture Volunteer and support us with the administration of the end-to-end employee life cycle.

Ideally you will be looking to volunteer a minimum of 1 day a week. Based in Kingsgrove.

What you’ll have exposure to:

  • Recruitment and checking candidate documents for compliance
  • Onboarding new employees
  • Developing an understanding of our employment terms and our termination process
  • Maintaining employee records
  • Responding to HR queries
  • Assisting with upcoming project work

What you need to succeed:

  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Willingness to learn and share ideas
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Studying Human Resources at an Australian University. Open to students at any stage in your degree.
