Gig Buddies Central Coast stands to tackle social isolation and to increase the social circles of all participants. We’re a fun and growing community. We are looking for a female buddy aged 18-30 years who lives Umina Beach area. Someone into arts and craft (particularly pottery), art galleries, cinema (watching horror movies), visiting the library and/or book exchanges. Going to concerts (music tastes range from Queen to 1D). Someone enthusiastic, positive and with a sense of humour!

Once paired up, ‘buddies’ attend gigs and events of their choosing

Gig Buddies requests that volunteers dedicate around 5 – 10 hours a month minimum.

As for when paired buddies catch up, this is determined on a case-by-case basis. Everyone’s personal circumstances are taken into consideration – the project aims to ensure both the adult with disability and volunteer mutually benefits.
