The Volunteer Retail Supervising Assistant will assist our Retail Manager and Supervisor with store coordination whilst fostering a strong culture within the team. The Volunteer Retail Supervising Assistant will be a key point of contact for volunteers in relation to the running and daily operations of the Op Shop.

• To assist customers within the shop • To assist with front of shop and back of shop tasks, such as sorting donations, hanging and tagging, pricing and merchandising the shop • Support to maintain an environment that is conducive with the health, safety and wellbeing of customers, clients and others • EFTPOS/credit card facilities, cash handling and EFTPOS reconciliation • Promote the sustainability principles of reducing landfill by reusing and recycling • Report all injuries and incidents • Uphold Anglicare’s privacy and confidentiality policy • Work in alignment with the Sanctuary Model Pillars, Anglicare’s Values, and Anglicare’s Code of Conduct. • Establishes cooperative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, by understanding and responding to the needs of others
