An initial site visit will include a tour, question and answer session with Staff, and activities for Students to engage in.

If a class group would like to continue volunteering as a group, this is possible. Between the classroom Teacher and Baptcare Staff, different opportunities and activities can be organised for Students.

Class visits to our communities are a fantastic way to introduce college classes to the rewarding nature of Volunteering and encourages Students to seek out exciting opportunities.

Multiple Volunteer opportunities are available for secondary Students who Volunteer with Baptcare. These include, but are not limited to:

• Interacting with Residents in the centre • Participating in administration tasks with the reception team • Creating and running activities and new experiences for Residents • Adopting a Grandpa • Board Games (Scrabble, Chess etc.) • Zumba • Botanical Gardens Picnic • Gardening • Bingo • Karaoke • Table Tennis • Pet Therapy
