B&P are seeking a nurse/s, case coordinator/s to be part of an inter-agency team to help them use and evaluate assessments to be utilised by nurses for people with ME/CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) and Fibromyalgia.

B&P are currently working with local GP Clinics to increase case management by a pilot project to evaluate a Nurses Manual and Assessments, to gather some preliminary data towards a grant to roll out specialist case management and care pathways between services in South Australia.

The work is part of an active volunteer program, working in partnership with health providers to improve services for people disadvantaged by chronic illness.

The position can be used as field work or work experience.

It involves liaising with other practice nurses and clients and university staff.

It requires you to work as part of an inter-agency team to improve services.

A knowledge of chronic care management, together with experience in basic statistics ME/CFS/FMS is an advantage.
