Volunteers are currently required to assist at our Leisure and Wellness Centre which provides a range of activities for people aged over 65yrs. We currently run a book club, exercise classes, day excursions, art groups etc. The volunteer’s role is to assist staff with running the activities, encouraging the group to participate and providing individual social support.

For this role, Volunteers need to be both sociable and practical – being able to engage a variety of people in conversation and to lend a hand in setting up activities and assisting staff as required. Days and hours of attendance can be negotiated.
