Youth In Emergency Services (YES) Cadets - Wundowie

This fantastic program runs during the school terms on a Thursday night in Wundowie.
There is no ongoing fees to attend cadets. Only costs are for camps and special events, which are heavily subsidised with fundraising.
YES Cadets learn from:
- State Emergency Service (SES)
- Volunteer Fire & Rescue Service (VFRS)
- Bush Fire Brigades (BFB)
- St John Ambulance
- WA Police Force
- DBCA Parks & Wildlife
and many more.
Skills and activities include
- Firefighting
- Rescue techniques
- Radio communications
- Knots and ropes
- Bush craft
- First Aid Uniforms and other equipment are provided free of charge on a loan basis
