Environmental restoration in National parks and reserves.

Foundation for Green Future Australia Ltd.

Key duties as a volunteer will include removal of weeds and planting native flora species using various techniques. Additional work may include habitat construction for fauna and other bush regeneration practices as required.

Experience within the field is great but are more than happy to educate enthusiastic and like-minded individuals. If you do have experience with bush regeneration or environmental studies or something you believe is relevant, send through your resume for us to have a read over. We aren’t looking for any specific skills but due to the physical nature of the work, we do ask that you feel confident on uneven surfaces, operating basic tools and repeated standing and sitting.

As an organisation, Foundation for Green Future Australia is a not-for-profit built with a team of bush regeneration professionals who all share a deep passion for the work we do. We have worked around Sydney for more than 5 years now, building grassroot connections with local communities, councils, parliament members etc. and engaging in restorative work in important ecological zones.

The volunteers we work with are an integral part of our team and we are hugely appreciative of their consistent efforts. At FOGA, we believe in community spirit and the power of collective knowledge so members always love sharing their insights of working in the industry and are always looking to train and pass on their knowledge.

The mentality of ‘Think Globally, Act Locally’ is one we love at FOGA so the restoration work we do benefits everyone around us and ensures we are able to pass on the beautiful nature landscape to our future generations as well future generations of native flora and fauna.
