About this opportunity Chatswood Rangers are looking for a Communications assistant to assist with managing social media and key communications to our members. In this role you will be supported / mentored by our experienced communications executive.

Key duties You will help create content and post and moderate Chatswood Rangers' social communities. Help grow our engagement across our platforms to build a real community feeling with our social and newsletter communications.

You will assist with:

• Creating and editing social media posts and newsletters

• Moderating social media channels

• Source content and identify upcoming opportunities, including ways to connect with our community

Skills and experience Whilst the focus is on creating captivating content across multiple social platforms, any of the following skills would be highly regarded:

• Knowledge of all social media platforms, with the ability to create high-quality, egaging content

• Writing skills, including the use of correct grammar and expression·

• Interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to engage with colleagues both internally and externally, and with people from diverse backgrounds

• Time management and task prioritisation skills

*• An ability to work autonomously, but as an effective team member to achieve the organisations goals

• Familiarity with photo and video editing software a bonus

About Chatswood Rangers Chatswood Rangers Sports Club is a community sports club catering for junior and senior football and netball players. In 2023 Rangers will celebrate its 60 year anniversary. In 2022, the club’s membership stood at approximately 1200 players. Across all age groups and skill levels, Chatswood Rangers promotes enjoyment, player development, fairness and sportsmanship.
