MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have a 96 year old gentleman in an Aged Care facility in Werribee who would benefit from companionship with a MALE visitor. He would enjoy 1:1 conversation and the opportunity to share his interest in music and playing guitar.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.
