DRIVER VOLUNTEERING WITH DEPARTMENT FOR CHILD PROTECTION

Department for Child Protection - Woodville

Department for Child Protection is looking for responsible, friendly people from diverse backgrounds to share their time, experience and skills with children and young people. Some of the ways you can support children include: driving a child to family visits or activities, attending community events, helping with homework, or helping them with their Life Story Book.

As a volunteer, you are supported with orientation, training, supervision and ongoing support. You will be reimbursed for mileage to and from the office, and for other approved expenses.

Government vehicles are used for the volunteer tasks and the government insurance cover covers you.

All volunteers must be 18yrs and over, Be COVID19 Boosted and undergo child related criminal history checks ( DCP will pay for)
