Volunteer to change lives. Yours included. This volunteer opportunity will help to support the frail, aged and elderly who visit Blue Care's Day Respite Centres by assisting them to take part in various activities, both in-centre and out and about in the community. Help make a meaningful difference by being a friendly face and engaging with residents in conversation to help alleviate the people we serve from feeling lonely or isolated. Help support residents to engage with each other and build friendships.

Volunteer alongside the the Lifestyle Team to encourage residents to take part in various recreational, social and fun activities. Help by supporting the team in the day to day activities and entertainment options.

Tasks involved include: ▪️ engage in uplifting conversations with residents ▪️ interact with residents in various social, recreational and fun activities ▪️ build friendships with those who may be feeling lonely or isolated ▪️ support the development of social connections with other residents ▪️ support the lifestyle team to prepare daily activities ▪️ assist with end of day tidy up of activities
