Volunteering with HammondCare At Home is one way you can give something back to the aged or frail in our society.

We’re looking for a friendly volunteer who would love to brighten the day of an elderly lady in the Denham Court area. Do you love all things crafty? Share your love with an elderly woman who enjoys needlework, patchworking, knitting and crochet. Practice your craft over a cup of tea at her home together, or get out and enjoy the weather on the sunnier days at the local shops or club.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.
