Undertake activities related to packing of food in readiness for customers

Unload the truck, unpack boxes and stock shelves Check use by dates of food stock and dispose of expired stock Prepare food packs in line with customer orders Prepack emergency parcels (where required) Check the fridge to ensure appropriate food temperatures are maintained Defrost the fridge at regular intervals Undertake general cleaning and sanitizing of shelves, floors, benches Food packs are to the satisfaction of customers Maintain a clean and hygienic surroundings at all times Provide quality customer service

Providing friendly customer service Responding to customer requirements and queries No customer complaints due to poor service Accurate information provided to customers Maintain a safe and healthy environment

Monitor and report any health and safety concerns within the premises Report any potential health and safety concerns to Manager Complete hazard/ incident and accident form

Qualifications and/or desirable experience requirements for the Role ·Customer service experience Mandatory requirements of the Role
Fully complete The Salvation Army's volunteer registration process Safe Food Handling Certificate Undertake or provide a National Police check and WWVP card (Tas) Complete TSA induction modules and any other training as required
