Support Vision Australia team by providing assistance to clients in learning to use equipment. Volunteers are required to provide in-home or centre-based support to clients to enhance their learning with use of equipment recommended to them by Vision Australia specialists. Equipment is usually technology-based and it is therefore essential that volunteers feel confident, once trained, with the use of various equipment which may but aren’t limited to include our library Daisy players, video magnifiers and mobile phones. Ensure your knowledge of equipment stays up to date. These volunteers may need to travel to clients homes to support them, therefore need to become registered VA drivers to access fleet vehicles. Note: Our Regional centres are in Albury, Shepparton and Wagga however we provide services to clients across the Murrumbidgee Hume Region. Therefore we are looking for volunteers in the following areas, Albury, Wagga, Wangaratta, Benalla and Shepparton.
