MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll, have a cuppa and chat, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

Would you like to visit an older person in an Aged Care Home and make a real difference in their life? Have you got some time and conversation to share to reduce loneliness? Do you speak Italian?

We are seeking an Italian speaking Community Visitor for a 98 year old lady in an Aged Care Home in Altona North. She would enjoy having chats in Italian over coffee and walks in her wheelchair.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.
