Team Connect WA
Logo for Team Connect WA

Team Connect works with young women from secondary schools across Perth and engages them into community sport. With the support of the schools, the young women are referred onto program and are then coached and mentored into playing seasonal cricket at junior club level across Perth. We have had five very successful seasons and are looking for supportive adults, who like working with young people, and are willing to give up one hour a week after school and then Saturday mornings during the season (October to March). In return we will support you to gain your coaching qualification through our affiliation to the WACA, and provide a caring, nourishing environment where you're not micro-managed, but you can put your own stamp on the role. If you're keen on this, but haven't had any coaching experience, please express your interest below. Were not looking for qualifications, were looking for the right attitude and drive, you don't even have to know anything about cricket. We will support you to get your working with children's check and police clearance if needed. You'll be supported to gain your Coaching Qualification through the WACA, but you'll need to devote 5 hours of your time towards it. And finally, once you start volunteering with us, you'll recognise that this is a worthwhile role that is genuinely using your existing skills to support young people to have a better future.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
