At Baptcare our vision is to create communities where people feel cherished. At our day respite centres you are giving time to those with a deep need for connection and support. Your skills as an entertainer will engage, empower and re-energise those you are performing for.

You will be joining a team of volunteers and have opportunities to connect and share experiences with your peers, if you wish. We seek to have a pool of entertainers on a monthly roster, 1 performance every 4 weeks

The role you undertake has significant impact for our residents who are deeply grateful and appreciative of the time and service you give. Baptcare honours the work of Volunteers through its Reward and Recognition Program.

Respite care gives family and carers a short break from looking after an elderly family member. It’s a chance for carers to take time out to recharge and look after their own health and wellbeing.

Our day centres are friendly and comfortable, with care delivered by qualified and experienced carers. Day respite at our day centres is available Monday to Friday. Come and experience being part of an incredible team.
