Various volunteer roles are available in this large residential home for the elderly.

Volunteers can provide transport to appointments, lead and assist with groups (bingo, discussion, games craft, bridge players, music and walking all possibilities), serve morning and afternoon tea, outings, one-to-one companionship and entertainment.

Variable time commitment - any day and time, except Saturdays. Knowledge of Yiddish, Hebrew or Russian would be a welcome but is not an essential requirement.

On line infection control and hand hygiene training is required. Training in working with seniors with dementia and manual handling is offered annually.
