St Stephen’s School Carramar introduced this food collection service for the community some years ago. We have a strong belief that supporting our community is essential.Those who participate will push a collection cart through Lakeside Joondalup e Shopping Centre visiting participating retailers that donate their produce. Once the collection is complete the Salvation Army will collect the food to disperse to their connected community. You will be surprised at the amount of produce that is wasted on a daily basis. All participants will be inducted and can commit as often as they like. Commencing at 4pm until 5.30pm on a weeknight, it is a brief activity with no skills required only a friendly disposition. Commitment depends on your availability, eg. Once a fortnight, once a month.
