The program
Our Migration Support Programs (MSP) provide help and support to refugees, asylum seekers, immigration detainees and other people who are vulnerable as a result of migration.
We do this through a range of migration programs services and programs that protect and uphold the health, dignity and wellbeing of vulnerable migrants. We also provide services to reconnect family members whose loss of contact is caused by international or internal conflict, war and disaster.
The opportunity
The Volunteer Advocacy Officer provides ad-hoc advocacy support to the Migration Support Programs (MSP). Opportunity may also be available to support with wider Australia Programs and International Group advocacy. Advocacy officers may also provide technical assistance to support humanitarian diplomacy efforts and inform the development of reports relating to the work of the program.
