Gardening Volunteers @ Railway Stations - Metropolitan Victoria
Keep Victoria BeautifulKeep Australia Beautiful Victoria (KABV) is looking for volunteers for our Stationeers program in both metropolitan and rural Victoria, to support improving the look and feel of local railway station precincts.
The action includes planting, weeding, mulching, litter removal and other general maintenance – with no experience, just enthusiasm required! Volunteering as a Stationeer is a great way to have fun and connect with likeminded people, enhance your local environment, keep fit and active, and contribute to a warm and inviting entry to your community.
KABV provides you with: • equipment (such as high visibility vests and signs) • safety training • public liability and personal injury insurance • permission from the appropriate railway authority to carry out volunteer work, and; • ongoing support as needed.
About Stationers: The Stationeers program supports volunteers across Victoria as they improve the look and feel of our railway stations. For the past 28 years, Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria has administered the program in a strong partnership with Metro Trains, V/Line, VicTrack and Public Transport Victoria.
