Habitat for Humanity SA operates a social enterprise called ReStore – best described as ‘an Op shop for building materials and furniture.’

We accept donations of new and ‘gently used’ building materials and furniture from retailers, building companies, tradies, and the general public, and sell it at around half the retail price. Without ReStore, much of this product would have gone to landfill.

Funds raised support our home building and improvement programs for South Australian families in need.

Our volunteer truck drivers and assistants operate out of ReStore, Alberton, collecting goods from the donors and delivering to the purchasers.

The roles requires sufficient physical strength to ensure the volunteer can perform these tasks with ease and at no risk of injury to themselves or others.
