Come and join our social circle of Ladies in aged care who would love to meet some new people to engage with regularly. Share in light refreshments during a high tea, knitting groups, wonder in the garden and help attend to the potted herbs and flowers, show off your creative and artistic skills as you assist people to create their own pieces of arts/craft.

No skills necessary, we will provide all engagement resources and we ask that you attend weekly/fortnightly/monthly for 2 hours or so.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
