Would you have three hours available each week to join a children’s charity responsible for bringing joy and reducing anxiety through the simple magic of music, comfort, and play? Have you ever wanted to DJ in your very own fully-equipped radio station?

Radio Lollipop, a 10,000+ strong volunteer organisation, does just that by providing care, comfort, play, and entertainment to children and their families in over 26 hospitals, across 5 countries (and growing!).

Since 1979, our volunteers have helped nearly 13 million children and families worldwide through the delivery and coordination of hospital play activities, radio song competitions and requests, bedside visits and more. Through the simple act of providing laughter and smiles, we have directly reduced requests for pain-killing drugs by a whopping 82% - not only having a profound impact on the children we visit but also significantly reducing expenses for the hospitals we serve.

We pride ourselves on providing a professional and consistent service to the children we visit. Consequently, we are seeking conscientious and reliable volunteers who can make a weekly commitment to join our team!

With sessions available Tuesday from 5 - 8 pm and Saturday mornings from 9 am - 12 pm at the Logan Hospital. If you are looking for a fun and rewarding volunteering experience, we want to hear from you today!

All applicants who register their interest will be invited to attend an online information session, where we will provide you with more information and give you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

To become a fully-fledged volunteer, you MUST attend an information session, submit an application, and be available for an interview.
