We are looking for volunteers (over 21) to help in our program mentoring or tutoring English as an Additional Language student from Sudan in a one-on-one situation. the volunteer must speak clearly and have competent reading and writing skills. Our student would like to meet with an English speaking tutor/mentor for one hour a week. This would ideally be on Wednesday after 3.30, or Thursday after 12.30. She is over the age of 35 so we would like our volunteer to be a bit older too. No experience is necessary, just wanting to help is enough. The student would like to work as an interpreter and needs help in working through her interpreters resource book.
