About Us

We distribute new and pre-loved essential baby items to WA families in need. We provide a box of “little things” to assist families to care for their newborn with items such as clothing, blankets, nappies, wipes, toys and books. Our volunteers collect and package donations into New Baby Boxes which are distributed via existing support services and government agencies.

About the Role

We’re seeking a passionate Perth based volunteer to fill the position of Corporate Volunteer Coordinator.

The key responsibilities include:

• Planning, management and facilitation of of corporate volunteering sorting/packing sessions (1-3 per month). • Identify, engage and build productive, sustainable relationships with corporate volunteers, including giving presentations when required. • Communication with and engagement of corporate volunteers through targeted and effective correspondence. • Inform corporate volunteers of opportunities, and details of events with adequate lead-time to plan and attend. • Respond to comments and queries about corporate volunteering opportunities. • Process all corporate volunteer session information.

About you • You're passionate about helping Western Australian families in need. • Experience in team management and leadership in a workplace environment will be useful but is not mandatory. • Experience managing volunteers will be useful but is not mandatory. • You absolutely love leading and nurturing teams and creating a sense of team bonding. • You are available for approx 15 hours per month to plan, book, manage and run Corporate Volunteer Sessions. • You are supremely organised and a great communicator - in person, on the phone, in video meetings, and via email. Must be comfortable/ willing to talk in front of teams of 5-30 people. • Self-motivated with high degree of self-management, creativity and initiative. • You're based in Perth.
