Business Mentor for People with disability starting their own Microbusiness

Ready to share your business knowledge and give back to your community? Ipswich and Gold Coast opportunities in 2022.

Carers Queensland’s Be Your Own Boss – Microbusiness Program will empower, educate and support people with disability to create or grow their own microbusiness. We are looking for people with business knowledge to join the program in Ipswich or Gold Coast regions who are able to deliver a one-to-two hour workshop for people with disability who are looking to establish, or who currently run their own microbusiness.

Who we are looking for:

If you have experience running a business, or an aspect of one, this opportunity could be for you. Area's such as the following would be valuable: Finance; Workplace health and safety; IT/Web design; Photography; Business Planning; Social media and marketing; Sales; e-Commerce and distribution

What to expect from your involvement in this program?

•Personal and professional development in disability awareness, access and inclusion. •Guidance and support leading up to and on the day of your session, for those who have had limited interaction with people with disability or are new to this role. •Recognition for being part of the program. •Networking with other business people.
