Social Support Volunteers enjoy a chat, have a calm and understanding manner and are able to assist with various activities which may include outings, gentle exercise, music, craft, quizzes, reading, playing a board game with a resident or alternatively you may have a skill you would like to share.

Our Aged Care homes offer a range of lifestyle programs giving our residents the opportunity to participate in different types of recreational and social activities. The activities are planned with the participants to ensure their needs and interests are met, and are designed to maintain independence and enhance their quality of life.

Caring is at the heart of everything we do. mecwacare is proudly a not-for-profit, non-denominational charitable organisation that has been supporting the elderly and people with a disability in the Victorian community since 1959.
