The Vocational Placement Student will gain experience while assisting the CheckUP Marketing and Communications team implement its ongoing marketing and communication activities, as well as assist with campaign work for Queensland Mental Health Week. Your focus will be on researching, developing, and creating content for CheckUP’s IMPACT magazine, websites, and social media channels.
Desired skills and experiences
- Undertaking relevant tertiary qualifications (communications, marketing, or journalism)
- Good writing skills are essential
- Experience or an interest in social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Later)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, and/or Campaign Monitor would be highly regarded
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and good organisational abilities
