We are looking for kind, committed and positive people to join our team of 1:1 social support volunteers. This program is designed to support older people to reengage and reconnect with their community and to the things they love to do.

Alicia* loves to get out and meet people. In the past she volunteered in various roles for over 30 years, she has travelled to 83 countries and loves exploring and learning about new places and cultures. She also enjoys festivals and exhibitions, especially art, craft, cultural and gardening festivals. Alicia would prefer a like-minded volunteer to visit on either Wednesday or Thursday mid-morning or early afternoon.

Alicia would like to get out and about in her community, therefore the volunteer will need to have access to a car. To be successful in this role you will need to have good communications skills and the ability to work independently. name changed.
