Petrie Community Aged Care Respite Service is looking for people interested in demonstrating and teaching our clients how to use a 3D printer. Experience using a 3D printer would be beneficial, but not essential, we will teach you how to use it!

Shifts are available on weekdays - morning, afternoon, or a full day 9am till 4pm.

The 3D Printer Volunteer will be involved with:

• Looking after the 3D printer
• Conducting 3D printer group
• Teaching and demonstrating how to use a 3D printer to others
• Developing the 3D printer to further develop people's skills.
• Displaying the 3D printer outcomes for others to enjoy.

The role of 3D Printer Volunteer is suitable for people who have well developed interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills and display a calm, caring and empathetic manner. It’s a great way to make a difference in the lives of our clients while making friends, having fun and learning new skills.
