Feed One Feed All (FOFA) is a new, not-for-profit start up and registered charity. We currently prepare 1600 meals a month using rescued food from agencies like Foodbank and Ozharvest, and we then partner with a number of service minded organisations to distribute them FREE to the needy in our community. We are a team of fun loving people who are passionate about using the medium of food to connect with and make life better for those doing it tough. We are looking for similarly passionate people to help us do even more!

We are seeking a Treasurer to join our team at FOFA. Volunteer duties include book keeping, preparing financial statements, reconciling bank accounts.

Responsibilities Assist in setting up our accounting system (ledgers as required) and recommend software and recommend software to suit. Provide financial guidance to the committee regarding all financial matters. Prepare annual budget, review expenses, reconcile bank accounts, prepare financial reports, prepare annual Profit and Loss Balance Sheet, Assist with auditing requirements, implement financial policies and procedures for organisation to follow, overseeing the financial operation of the organisation to ensure compliancy and viability. Recommend and implement financial policies and procedures for FOFA to follow.

Qualifications / skills Accounting background required. Proficient in preparing financial statements and reports. Ability to work closely with others to ensure financial standards of the organisation are being observed. Good organisational skills.
