Our Centre for Women's, Children's and Family Health in Campbelltown supports women and families who have experienced complex trauma through domestic violence, sexual assault, childhood trauma in their recovery.

We use a trauma informed, strengths based approach and integrated, wrap around service model.

Through our Education & Groups program we provide a range of health and wellbeing groups for women throughout the lifespan who have experienced trauma and social isolation. We are seeking a yoga instructor who can facilitate yoga groups to women in our centre one morning a week.

We currently offer two yoga groups; one group is aimed at older women with limited movement and is offered as a chair yoga group. Our second yoga group can be run as a trauma informed yoga group. Each group runs for one hour per week with a maximum participant number of 10.  We are seeking volunteers to run either one or both of these groups for our centre. 

Desirable skills:

Experience delivering yoga groups to women who have experienced trauma. Understanding of the physical and emotional impacts of trauma on the body. Current WWCC and National Criminal History Check or willingness to obtain.
