Back2Bikes is seeking volunteers to assist in refurbishing bikes which will be donated to people in need. As a non profit bicycle recycler our aim is both to recycle bikes and further the skills of our volunteers. We do not expect our volunteers to start with a comprehensive knowledge of bicycle repair skills but the following skills and interests would be a advantageous:- • A love of cycling whether for commuting or recreation. • Basic knowledge of bicycle repair or some mechanical aptitude or background. • Ability to work with others in a cooperative environment. • A willingness to learn to increase you knowledge by trial and error and asking questions while also assisting others when called upon. • An understanding that other volunteers come from diverse backgrounds and that you must respect social, cultural and gender diversity.
